Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2010 Recap
On October 28, 2010-November 1, 2010, THG attended the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Held annually, the show is the world’s largest in-water boat show and took place in five locations this year with over 1,200 boats on display and a wide variety of marine products worth in excess of $3 billion. Attendees moved from one location to the next via trolleys, shuttles and water taxis-making it truly an amphibious show.
This year’s show was had a distinct feeling of energy from start to finish. After a couple years of slow business for the marine industry, buyers and sellers were ready to take advantage of this year’s renewed demand for marine products. The THG collections on display this year were the Profil Collection, designed by interior designer Jamie Drake, and the Bagatelle Collection from renowned French designer Olivier Gagnère. We were excited to show off these collections to the numerous yacht builders and designers that stopped by the THG booth.
Below are some photos of the THG booth (including a sneak peak of the new Alberto Pinto Series 11) and a variety of other sights from the show this year.
