At a glance, it seemed that the finest from the City of Lights in the way of delicious nibbles, opulent products for the home, a dazzling guest list and naturally, champagne, was transported to the lavish Fixtures and Fittings, an upscale bath showroom in the Houston Design Center for a “Night in Paris.” Hosted by Fixtures and Fittings’ Vice President, Mindy Carter, the evening attracted some 100 esteemed members of the area’s design community. Serving designers, architects and decorators and headed by Founder and President, Aaron Laine, the four-year-old Fixtures and Fittings has quickly established itself as the “go-to” source for fine taps, furnishings and accessories for the bath, including THG Paris.

The event showcased recently introduced bath suites, fittings and accessories from THG, the luxury bath atelier, including those made in collaboration with equally stellar French brands, DAUM, Lalique and Bernardaud, and other exquisite collections such as SO., Traditionelle and Beluga. The evening also celebrated Fixtures & Fittings’ partnership with luxury offerings from Bronzes de France (fine decorative hardware) and Baguès (cast brass and bronze chandeliers, pendants and sconces), both of which have roots in classical French design from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Among the notable attendees: Pamela Pierce, Pierce Design and Associates, Rachael Miclette and Shelby Steed, Jacomini Miclette Design, Lucinda Loya, Lucinda Loya Interiors, Daniel Hall, Stern and Bucek Architects, Chandos Dodson Epley, Chandos Interiors, P. Joe Shaffer, P. Joe Shaffer Design, Paul Brow, Butler Brothers Development and Construction, Julie Baker, Watkins Baker Design, Kevin Dahlstrand and André De Jean of Dahlstrand Miller Architects, Bill Gardner, W. Gardner Ltd. Antiques, Janet Gust, Janet Gust Design Group, Steve and Lark Howard and Anne Breux, Anne Breux Designs.

Guests were treated to champagne, hors d’oeuvres and a charming on-site stand offering home made crepes. The gallery style showroom features high ceilings, open shelving and minimal signage, all permitting unobstructed views of luxury bath vignettes in a spacious and contemporary setting. Scott Triethart, National Sales Director, THG USAand Michael Risser with Bronzes de France / Baguès were also on hand at the event.
