THG at Maison&Object

Our THG-Paris team recently returned from two back-to-back internationally acclaimed trade shows, held in the United States, where we introduced our newest collections for 2015. The first venue was Maison&Objet Americas in Miami. Maison&Objet has always taken place in Paris (where THG exhibits and is always a sensation), but this was the first time the high-profile, “crème de la crème” show exhibited in America! Maison&Objet highlights the latest home fashions and luxury designs from premier French brands – making this the perfect exhibition to debut our latest products from our THG master craftsmen and prestigious collaborators! Our owners and managing directors Michel and Laurence Gosse, Anne-Sophie Gosse and Laurent Heilpern spent the entire week at the show meeting with clients, media and special guests.

The Maison&Objet booth featured intricately designed vignettes showcasing new collections as well as our established and iconic designs of recent years. The booth was constantly buzzing with attendees and press coming in to see and touch the beautiful fixtures and accessories. A highlight was the chance to see our two collections with esteemed porcelain house Manufacture de Monaco, bearing the official title of “Purveyor by the appointment of His Serene Highness the Prince of Monaco.” The releases, Monte Carlo and Wedding, were able to be viewed up close with a magnifying glass (yes, we provided a high-power loop), allowing attendees to truly appreciate the intricate details and perfected combination of Swarovski® crystals, porcelain and gold and platinum. No other hardware manufacturer would attempt to have a person scrutinize their products, but for us, this is part of what makes us so special.

THG’s North American Director Pedro Uranga also starred in the “Design Tourist” series as part of a Maison&Objet special report about luxury bath trends. THG’s “Jewelry for the Bath” designs were highlighted and showcased throughout the segment. Click here to see the video.

Immediately following Maison&Objet, THG-Paris jetted over to New York City for the International Contemporary Furniture Fair, known as ICFF. This highly anticipated show represents the industry’s latest, most innovative and evocative fashions in interior design, architecture, furnishings, and quite simply, really cool art and products. We actually showcased in two booth locations this year: a dedicated curated display of our latest contemporary designs and new collections, as well as upstairs in the expanded ICFF section where the Luxe Home + Design Pavilion was set up.

Designers, specifiers, contractors, media, students and general design enthusiasts explored the hundreds of inspiring exhibitions, with many drawn in by THG’s exceptional, sparkling designs. Major hits at ICFF were Collection O in our new Rose Gold finish, as well as the new Manufacture de Monaco collections, which were front and center (with the magnifying glass) so guests could see each intricate pattern. Other attendees were intrigued by Saint-Germain and Beaubourg – THG’s refined, industrial-inspired faucet designs – as well as our magical Baccarat collections, Beyond Crystal and Petale de Cristal, which added vibrant color to the dazzling booth. To bring a brilliant finishing touch to the booth design, a glistening Baccarat crystal chandelier was suspended over the space.

Both shows proved to be enormous successes. It always rewards our team and THG family that our collections – both previously launched and new – continue to inspire and evoke a sense of splendor, luxury and art de vivre.
